My work was on Bengal [India] Folk Art [Painting, Sculpture].

Sri Shankar Lal Chatterjee, an eminent Rabindra Sangeet artist was born in 1940. He was passionate in music from his childhood. He got inspiration and early lessons in music from his father. He got a job in 1962 in Ichapore Rifle Factory but even then he maintained his regular association to music and singing because of his strong bonding to Rabindra Sangeet. He joined in a musical institution, Shilpi Sangha as a Rabindra Sangeet tutor. He has organised dance drama Shyama of Tagore in the year 1966. Since then he conducted all Nritya Natya of Tagore (Chitrangada, Chandalika, Shyama), gitinatya (Balmiki prativa, Kalmrigya. Mayar Khela), Natika(Tasher Desh) several times with renowned dance team lead by Sambhu Bhattacharjee, Sadhan Guha, Poly Guha, Pradipta Neogy and so on.

Ajit kr Ghosh.nBorn and brought up at Kolkata.nI started my education at kolkata..nI passed out madhyamik on 1980 from Surokonya Vidyalaya.nThen 1982 , I passedout Higher Secondary Exam from the same school stated above .nAfter that I completed my Senior Training Education Diploma from Goverment of West Bengal, V.B.B College on 1984.nIn 1983 I have completed my Lady Brabon Diploma on Dance Education.

Hi, It's me!!. Joydip Nandi. Not famous like A. RAJA,NIRA RADIA, JAMES HEADLEY   , but an I.T B-Tech Engineer.
Born in 13th Oct'85.Working in SRMB SRIJAN LTD.Lived in Garia, Kolkata.Had done my schooling from Jadavpur Vidyapith, then earned an I.T Btech Degree from MallabhumnInstitute of Engg. at Bishnupur.
At the young age of my life I was very much passionatenabout painting. Went to Drawing school named SPANDANin Garia, KOLKATA. I Studied there and do Painting for more than7 years. Then I had to stop for High School pressure
But, I found this website as the best of all as because I can post my Paintings here, those I made in my childhood days and I can make my Portfolio also amazingly free of cost.
So, once I had some creating ability with a pencil in my hand, and created some paintings, that's why I am posting those in this site. May be my pencil shades are not perfect like the other good artists but Boss you are seeing the paintings when I was in my 7th standard only.
